It's not a good look for anyone, let alone an adult male. Shyness is a fear of people and social situations, so when you advertise yourself as "shy dad," you're broadcasting to the world how much confidence you lack, and how afraid of the world you are. People usually outgrow this by childhood. I wouldn't bank on it helping your cause. This is assuming your dating profile has similarities to your username here. Best of luck.
