This friend of mine has started to copy me more often. He copies my movements, words, and facial expressions.

 

If I tap my foot, he taps his foot a few seconds later. If I say a certain phrase like "way cool", he starts saying that phrase more whenever he talks to me. If I furrow my eyebrows, he makes the same expression along with me.

 

Why does he keep copying me?

Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, my dear. But don't make more of than it is. He might just think you are a cool chick. Does it bother you or creep you out?

It is a compliment. However it's highly annoying. Talk to him about it & ask him to stop. Reassure him that he's s cool guy all on his own & doesn't need to be you to fit in.
