Arkul Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 Well, My girlfriend and I were happily in love untill she found me at a resturant talking to a girl I didn't know... I was not cheating on her but she got really angry at me... while she decided to give me one last chance, I feel like she doesn't love me anymore, and she definitely doesn't trust me. Any advice on how to win her back would be greatly appreciated.
BonneChatte Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 First of all, you're in very dangerous territory...even if it was an innocent conversation, she saw it as something more. I gotta ask, have you done anything in the past that might make her jump to wild conclusions (e.g. cheated on her, on someone else, are you a perpetual flirt)? Either way, it's just going to take time for things to return to normal on her end. Whatever you do, don't attack her feelings or openly dismiss them as "stupid." That will only make matters worse. She needs to know that you're really sorry for making her feel this way (again, even if it was only an innocent conversation). You also need to sit down with her and really talk to her...find out why this incident hurt her so badly. Be on your best behavior! And making her dinner, giving her flowers, or other romantic surprises wouldn't hurt either! By the way, one minor incident like this shouldn’t make her stop loving you…if it did, well then your relationship wasn’t very strong to begin with and would have ended sooner or later. Anyway…I hope you are able to prove yourself worthy to her!
