So I have been in a 3 year relationship that I just ended because my boyfriend was cheating on me.

 

A guy I have known for the past 8 years that I've hooked up with on and off in between relationships has been texting me, since I broke up with my BF. I did not reach out to him, I feel like guys have some sort of sense when they know you're single.

 

Conversation started off really casual with him just asking me if I was still with my boyfriend. I told him no. But that it looked like he was still with his gf according to Instagram. He admitted he was with her. I asked him what she would thought of him texting another woman and asking her out on a date, and he said that he admitted she wouldn't like it very much.

His girlfriend on Instagram looks like they are very serious. They have been together for 2 years at least, and they remind me of what I thought me and my ex were. Super in love. I don't know for sure but she really looks like the type who has no idea WTF he is up to. He has proceeded to send me dick pics/videos and he calls and text me all the time. I don't know this girl, and I don't really wanna get involved, but I had to find out by looking through my boyfriend's phone because I didn't trust him to find out he was fu*king a bunch of other people. I would like to know if I was her...but is this wrong? Should I tell her??? I would never have sex with someone's boyfriend, I really don't want to make her feel the way I currently feel but I feel like she should know. what do you all think? I don't have any sort of past serious relationship with this girl's boyfriend. I have no attachment to him whatsoever I have no reason to get back at him for anything. The reason I would tell her is because I would have wanted someone to tell me earlier that they knew my boyfriend was cheating on me. But at the same time the way I feel is so horrible. I wouldn't want anyone to feel this way. But the way she looks, looks like she really doesn't know. She looks like a girl I could be friends with. Looks like a sweet, loyal girl in love. Anyway anyone's advice would be helpful

I wouldn’t get involved!

 

Block him and move on. What’s really the point ? Plus there’s always a backlash to these things

I just wish someone had told me. There's always people who know your significant other is cheating. No one told me. Like I said I have nothing with this guy, as a woman I feel I owe it to her, especially since it just happened to me... But again I see your point I don't know her, I don't owe her anything. But I do know her boyfriend is trying to cheat on her (if he hasnt already with someone else) and that is something I would want to know.

You didn’t find out because you probably didn’t look at the signs

 

 

I’m sure looking back you probably think wait a second there was a time when this and that didn’t add up

 

No cheater is perfect there are always clues

 

 

If you really set on your idea go ahead and go through with it but wait for the repercussion because I’m sure he’s going to go after uou you one way or another

 

My advice would be don’t get involved unless you can handle being in the center of a mess.

Why do you continue to engage with the guy? I believe you do have interest.

I do not have interest. The only interest I have is trying to understand why guys do this.this same scenario just happened to me with my (ex) boyfriend. I have no connection or interest in this guy.

So him sending you penis pics is helping you understand? Why haven't you blocked him? The attention is good, right?

 

Listen, I'm not trying to be a jerk but women don't engage in this type of stuff without interest in the guy. I think you are fooling yourself.

That's what I don't understand, either.

 

Anyhow - OP, if you're going to tell her, just go ahead and do it. Be prepared to show her the messages and photos he's been sending you. And then block this guy forever.

 

Beside the point, but I want to add - there is no way you can determine just from some photos of her that she's "the type who wouldn't know." For all you know, he's done this many times before and she's well aware of what he's like. Photos on social media don't tell you anything about what goes on behind closed doors.

I usually don't recommend getting involved BUT since this guy went out of his way to contact you, and the fact he told you he has a GF, AND still he sends pics of his dick and keeps texting you. What does that say about what he thinks of you? You should feel insulted. I say rat this guy out...he is such a pig.
