It can. It doesn't always. Some people take it as a challenge. Some people sensibly give up and move on. People do lots of different things.

Seems a guy would quickly move into "stalker" territory if he didn't take the hint. That type of unwanted attention can be pretty unpleasant...

I know that there are women out there that think if a guy isn't moving mountains to get to them, then they feel like he's not worthy...They even go to the extent of continuously turning him down, but leaving a door open, so that he can keep upping the ante...

 

Like previous poster stated....Risky maneuver....It could easily blow up..Some won't play along..

I would say yes unless they are clueless and can't tell when someone is not interested in them. Those are the worst.
