As you can see he is still with his woman even though they have no kids tying them to each other. He's where he wants to be. He hasn't asked you to leave your husband and be with him, has he? Your feelings far surpass his.
notbroken Posted July 13, 2018 Posted July 13, 2018 The fantasy you have for this other guy (which you've never had a real relationship with) is preventing you from being happy with your husband - and him from being happy with you. He IS just a fantasy. Even if you leave your husband you won't necessarily find "Mr Perfect" (because there isn't one). I suspect you will one day realize what you had but it will be too late - though you may never actually admit it. You are doing both yourself and your husband a disservice by pining for your fantasy. Find a way to put it behind you and get in real life or you will waste your relationships away.
