jgraham11 Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 When I was in high school and college I dated every race under the sun. White (My own race), Black, Hispanic and Asian. However, I have ever since I'd say college found Chinese women in particular to be more attractive. I absolutely beat myself up over the fact I find them more attractive too because I always tell myself it's not normal. Again, it's not like I don't find other races attractive. I've seen attractive women I've liked in every race, but I just find on average Chinese women in particular I find to be very attractive. A little background on maybe WHY that is.. I went to an international high school and half the school was Chinese exchange students. My best friends are from China and live in China again and i've visited several times. Now interestingly I never found Chinese women or Asian women in general any more or less attractive than any race when I was in HIGH SCHOOL. Something changed at some point though and I don't know what? Maybe it has something to do with me getting to know the culture or I don't even know, not really sure Anyway, it kind of haunts me a bit that I find them to be really attractive. It's not like I'm attracted to them because I think they'll be more "obedient" or any of that BS. To be honest it's mostly just a physical thing I've found. I don't use those horrible racist pickup lines you read about online. IN FACT! I barely even approach Chinese girls or women of Asian descent because I've completely convinced myself it's wrong that I find them attractive. I've really put myself into quite a dilemma by doing that haha So, is it acceptable to find a certain race a little more attractive if your intentions are pure?
Gaeta Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 We like what we like and you don't have to justify it. There are plenty of people that have a preference connected to race. There is another poster on here who has a preference for Asian woman, I am a white woman and I find black men more attractive. To me kissing a white man is like kissing one of my brothers. I don't try to understand it, it is what it is.

girlinNYC Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 Nothing wrong with having a certain type. It's not like you are being rude to other races or being 'racist' at that. As we grow our tastes can change.
