GeorgiaPeach1 Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 A terrible argument takes place. Person A (woman) says she can't take this relationship any more, says it's over but sincerely offers friendship. Person B (male) says he never meant for any of the bad stuff to happen, says goodbye and please take care, then blocks before a reply can be sent. Which one is the dumper, and why?

Person A, obviously. Because she ended it, not Person B.
d0nnivain Posted June 3, 2018 Posted June 3, 2018 It was a mutual break up. The labels dumper & dumpee don't change the amount of heartache involved with the split. There is also no such thing as a "sincere offer of friendship" after a break up. Post break up friendship is not possible. The phrase means no drama when you see each other. You can't stay close. What are you supposed to talk about -- your new relationship with somebody else? Trust me the new SO doesn't want you anywhere near your EX. 2
