Frazzle Posted June 2, 2018 Posted June 2, 2018 I was talking to coworker A about my weekend plans when coworker B walked in. For context, I know coworker A really well because we're neighbors at work and hardly ever talk to coworker B Coworker B: What are you guys talking about? Coworker A: He was just telling me about his weekend plans. Coworker B: Oh. You must have a date this weekend. Coworker A: Oh yeah, he was telling me about all of his dates for the weekend. Coworker B: You have many dates planned huh? Coworker A: Yeah, he was just telling me how he was trying to figure out when to drop one girl off and pick up another. Obviously, they were just joking around but would this be considered a flirty conversation? Or just light flirting? And if so, which coworker was flirting? Or were they just giving me a hard time?
carhill Posted June 2, 2018 Posted June 2, 2018 Workplace banter, IMO. So, interested in dating A or B?
smackie9 Posted June 4, 2018 Posted June 4, 2018 Ya it sounds more chummy, nothing flirty at all. I second the coworker banter.
Lotsgoingon Posted June 6, 2018 Posted June 6, 2018 No ... More the responses of someone who is bored and trying to be charming ... and being clunky at doing so. 1
DrReplyInRhymes Posted June 7, 2018 Posted June 7, 2018 Uh, how is this flirting? Obviously nonverbal communication is king here. Was he standing right next to her? Did he put a hand on her ass? I mean, we could paint this to be as flirty as possible.
Michelle ma Belle Posted June 7, 2018 Posted June 7, 2018 Sounds like run-of-the-mill workplace banter and borderline gossip. Nothing flirty about this conversation.
act00 Posted June 9, 2018 Posted June 9, 2018 I'm going with general workplace banter. Even if there's some attraction, this conversation is silly stuff, and not indicative of interest in dating. Are you attracted to either A or B and wish to date them?
