poet Posted May 31, 2018 Posted May 31, 2018 My exgf broke up with me at the beginning of the month because she has too much on her plate and can't give me the attention that I deserve. A bit of backstory we were going out for 7 months up this point and she wouldn't answer when I asked her where this is going. She's about 3/4 through a divorce that's understandable she started pulling away about 2 months ago and I was getting frustrated because she wasn't answering when I posed her the question. It's been just over three weeks we barely talked the first week we agreed to stay FWB, I don't think that it's the correct time to have a relationship she's been inviting me to her place we stay distant and sometimes kiss, mainly we talk and then we have sex. She's been saying I love you in text messages, she has done that for several weeks when I told her that I loved her she would say I know. I noticed that she has been inviting me over more frequently, asks me to run errands like I used to, calling more frequently. Any advice? I'm frustrated with this push / pull behaviour, she was pushing starting several weeks ago and now she's slowly pulling.
PegNosePete Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 Any advice? Yes. Ask her what's up and where it's going, and do not accept any wishy washy non-committal waffle. Demand a straight answer, or you'll walk.
HumanMachine Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 She likes the comfort of having a man there but doesn’t want the commitment of a relationship.
