Hi all, I'm wondering what everyone considers long-distance. One hour? Two or more?

I live i a rural community that I interact with professionally so I date outside my area and often get rejected because of distance, even when the other person lives only an hour away. I'm feeling really frustrated so I postponed dating until I move closer to the city. Just wanted some input out of curiosity.

In my area, I consider anything further than 10 miles as geographically undesirable because of the insane traffic.

Although 1 hour is still too far, because it's too far away for convenient weeknight dates, and you have to reserve all weekends to spend with that person and don't get any of your "stuff" done on the weekends.

Yes!! I currently live about 30 minutes away from my boyfriend, I only see him one day normally Saturday's. All the blame goes on me because I am the one who decides not to wake up super early in the morning and drive home(he never comes out my way for the night)-I work two jobs and have animals to take care of in the morning, so I'm busy. So even if its not technically long distance doesn't mean it can't feel like one.
