This girl and I, we've known each other for a few months now. We'll text on and off, since she doesn't seem to be the type of person to text everyday and make small talk. When we do text, it's almost always to set up a date, which always seems VERY easy, despite her busy work schedule.

So far, we've gone on 4 dates, all around the afternoon time, with another one coming in a few days. Despite knowing each other for a while now, it still seems like we're tiptoeing around, being very respectful to each other, like neither of us are pushing the envelope so to speak. To me, it doesn't quite feel like being friendzoned, because there's almost no conversation unless it's to go out....yet it also doesn't feel like there's a spark, at least not yet.

So the question here is, what do you guys think is going on here, and should I start to push the envelope next time? Or maybe we're indeed just friends?

4 dates in a few months? Don't talk unless it's to go out? Any sexual relations? If yes, then probably just a guy she hits up when she's bored. If no, friend zoned. No girl is too busy for a guy she's serious about.

I've done this in the past, it grows old and there's really no point to it if you see her as someone that you like on a more emotional level..

Find someone who wants to actually talk to you consistently and makes time to go out with you more than once a month.

Girls will do small talk with you if they're actually interested and you feel no spark...just move on man.

It takes two. You have to make some advances, and she reciprocates. Then she makes some efforts. You can’t both wait to be chased. How do you know she doesn’t want to text? Maybe she doesn’t text you because she noticed you are not texting her. Meanwhile you are thinking the same thing.

Just take small steps. No need to rush, but it should be developing.
