Happy Lemming Posted March 23, 2018 Posted March 23, 2018 I think that is the stupidest thing that anyone ever came up with. I had heard the origin of "Speed Dating" came from a Rabbi. His goal was to put Jewish Women with Jewish Men. As some of you may be aware, in the Jewish faith, the religion follows the mother. So, if you are a Jewish man and you want Jewish children, you MUST marry a Jewish woman. As the story goes, this Rabbi was trying to play matchmaker and introduce his single Jewish men to the single Jewish women. Apparently the process became too much for him, so he decided to try to introduce the Jewish singles to each other in a quick and efficient way, and invented "Speed Dating". Based on his goal, I think this was actually pretty smart. I guess at some point, the "Speed Dating" concept leaked into the general public and now we have several variations of it. *** Please Note *** This explanation of "Speed Dating" was told to me. I have no way of verifying it, so take it with a "grain of salt". 2
Popsicle Posted March 23, 2018 Posted March 23, 2018 I just googled speed dating and they have speed dating events for men who only like slender women and for women who only like tall men. I thought that was funny. lol
Author ffw Posted March 23, 2018 Author Posted March 23, 2018 I would find it heartwarming if a guy kissed me on my hand. The only thing that would take away from it is if he went right next door and kissed the next girls hand, which he probably did. Lol Thanks Popsicle! No, I didn't kiss any other girls hand Did you ever felt chemistry after meeting a person for the 1st time? That's what I felt with her. It was a gift from my heart. I though she was interested also since she was asking me questions till I left. Still scratching my head to what happened. All it takes is just 1 person when both of you are into each other, but it's so hard to that person.
Popsicle Posted March 23, 2018 Posted March 23, 2018 I’ve always felt chemistry the first time I saw the guys I’ve dated
