Krazy47 Posted March 11, 2018 Posted March 11, 2018 So been dating a girl for about a month. Everything is great! We’ve met each other friends, my friends get along with her friends and vice versa. We already have a trip planned in the next couple weeks. We hang out quite a bit through the week and weekend. A little bit ago we acknowledged we are “dating” and not seeing anyone else. Is there really a good time or what. Last girl it took us a year to officially put a “title” on it but we were obviously boyfriend and girlfriend. I later learned she was annoyed about how long it took. I want her to be my girlfriend but also don’t want to scare her off and seem desperate.
hercules22 Posted March 11, 2018 Posted March 11, 2018 see if things still go well i would probably ask after the trip you guys planned if you are still going good
snowboy91 Posted March 11, 2018 Posted March 11, 2018 Sometimes you just know. But if I was dating someone exclusively I'd actually discuss the labels relatively quickly. The worst she will say is "not yet", in which case try again after a few more weeks.
heavenonearth Posted March 11, 2018 Posted March 11, 2018 I think what another poster said -- if you are on the trip and things are going well, pick a nice moment and just ask her if you can be her boyfriend That's how my bf did it and I loved it. 1
Flame Aura Posted March 11, 2018 Posted March 11, 2018 You do it when the time is right, only you know that. Not sure why you think asking her seems desperate? Every girl I've been with has been waiting/wanting me to make it official. If the time is right doing it on your trip is a good idea. Somewhere romantic for sure!
Author Krazy47 Posted March 11, 2018 Author Posted March 11, 2018 I agree I was kind of planning for the trip towards the end of it!
iVisa Posted March 11, 2018 Posted March 11, 2018 Your ex was right. The year is too long. And what about the month? It depends on how your relation looks like. You just should feel - it's a good time.
