Box Posted March 9, 2018 Posted March 9, 2018 There's a girl who gets on my bus to school who I am interested in, we have no classes together and I only see her around school a few times and on the bus. She is almost always with her friends which would make it quite hard to talk to her. They only time I see her alone is on the bus, however I am with my friends which makes it hard for me as I don't want them to know. Is there anyway I can create a situation in which I can talk with her alone? I think talking alone with her is best as she is a shy person. Thanks.

Ask her her name and say ya you have seen her around. Tell her she has a nice smile, then ask her for her number. Who gives a crap if you are with friends, just get up and go to it.
Yosemite Posted March 9, 2018 Posted March 9, 2018 You don’t know that she’s shy, sounds like you’ve never spoken to her before. She has friends, so she’s not that shy. You want to talk to her alone because you’re scared which is a normal feeling to have at 16. My advice, talk to her and her group of friends anyway whether you’re scared or not. Try to get your group of friends to sit closer to her group of friends on the bus (get on the bus first and sit closer to where your crush usually sits and your friends will probably follow you and sit there too.) Then just start talking to her and her entire group of friends and your friends will probably join in the conversation too

Does she look anything like a celebrity you can think of? You could just walk by her while she's already seated (or you're getting off the bus, etc.) and say something like, "does everyone tell you that you look like XYZ?")

She will reply with 'Yea I do bla bla', then you can start a convo.. oh you live there? I live here... then ... you wanna grab a drink/ice cream/whatever after school? Or similar. I remember when I was too scared to talk to girls in school too.
