small_hand_of_power Posted February 13, 2018 Posted February 13, 2018 There's a girl in my class and we've talked many of the classes we've had, which isn't many considering it's early in the semester. One time I was looking for a place to sit and she said "What are you too cool to sit next to me?" so I sat next to her and we started talking and found out we had mutual friends, and we just talked about random stuff. I had something for class that she wanted and she was like "Give me your phone" and sent her email to her own phone number. Then, today, as soon as she got to class she poked me on the back and told me she didn't finish the book and still wrote the essay. We then were supposed to be put into groups and she was like "I want to be in your group" we didn't end up being in the same group but she sat next to me anyway as her group was next to my group. If she's just being nice, I get it. But like, no one has been this "nice" to me since I started going to college, so it's easy to see how I could confuse this. What do you think. What should I do?
act00 Posted February 13, 2018 Posted February 13, 2018 It seems there's some attraction there, or you wouldn't be getting this much attention. Study partners and someone who can share notes when you have to miss are always good things to have...if she actually does the work...otherwise, she's using you. For now, I say she seems interested, and see if she's available to grab some coffee after class or sometime later in the week, or see if she'd like to go to dinner or a movie or whatever you youngin's do these days.
Happy Lemming Posted February 13, 2018 Posted February 13, 2018 (edited) I agree with act00... She is showing you attention. She wanted you to sit next to her. Its time to ask her out the movies or "Cold Stone Creamery" for some ice cream!! Edited February 13, 2018 by Happy Lemming spelling
Iseult Posted February 13, 2018 Posted February 13, 2018 What do you think. What should I do? Stop tucking and let it hang.
KBarletta Posted February 13, 2018 Posted February 13, 2018 Sure sounds like she likes you. Ask her out for a coffee or something after your classes and see what happens. Worst case scenario you make a new friend. 1
