ninol Posted February 11, 2018 Posted February 11, 2018 This girl I've seen and talked to couple of times... we exchanged texts, she texted me first and said that she got a new job.. I congratulated her, and said great, we need to drink to celebrate that... She said: Thanks, we'll make a plan. What is the right way to respond to this? She said that last night, I haven't responded anything yet. Should I make the move or wait? She knows that I've seen that message last night.
act00 Posted February 11, 2018 Posted February 11, 2018 Yes! Why are you questioning this? This isn't complicated. Write her and ask if X day and X time at X location would work for her. Better yet, call her, if you have her personal number. Make a date. The fact that you fully blew her off since last night might not bode well for you, but give it a try. "I would love to take you to Restaurant at 7 tomorrow, and buy you a drink. Will that time work for you? Congratulations! I can't wait to celebrate. Are you available to talk? I can call you, we'll plan."
smackie9 Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 Get in there and ask her when would be a good time to go. IMO it sounded like a friends thing not a "I'm interested in you!" thing. If I was interested I would have responded with: "That sounds great, when?" I don't know about this one brah.
Maggie4 Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 Ha ha why are you asking us how to respond, when YOU were the one who said you wanted to go have a drink to celebrate. So... go do that. (Pick a place and time, check with her), then go!!
