Movies have a tendency to perpetuate the naive, hopeless romanticism that love conquers all.

Case in point, a scene from The Mexican.

“When do you get to the point when enough is enough? Never. Never.”

It’s a nice sentiment, admirable even. But do you think it holds true? Sure, it takes 2 to tango, so.

By the way, Rest In Peace James Gandolfini. He was a great actor and seemed to have a great personality.

I liked movie. Gandolfini plays a gay man and Pitt is plays a ditz very cleverly. But it was kind of corny lol

That sounds a lot like how a lot of people justify staying in toxic relationships

Haven't seen it but that's the 60 dollar question if things just don't wanna go right, when is enough enough , can they get better , can we change it if we keep working on it ?

lt's a really really tough question and a really shytty sitch to be in because you can both be head over heals and that's very hard stuff to find , a few times in a lifetime if your lucky or maybe never, yet still things happen and after awhile you literally may well have to choose.

And that means taking the risk of maybe never having those feelings again or never finding that person again.

lt's easy to tap next on a keyboard but real life and love isn't that easy.

Well porn perpetues fantasies too yet that industry is thriving. c'est la vie
