I should preface this by saying I suffer from Generalized Anxiety and I tend to practice catastrophic thinking which may be coloring my outlook on this situation.

So I've been talking to this guy I've met through a dating site for about a few weeks. A week ago we went on our first date and it went great. We've been talking every day since then but last night I logged into my account on the dating site too turn off my notifications when I noticed he had been active that night. I know we've only been on one date but he's been telling me how much he enjoys me and our talks so should I take this as a sign he's not into me? I know I probably shouldn't be worrying about this unless it becomes serious but I just don't like the idea of keeping something with someone who's not interested. Help?

No that’s not a sign of anything at all. For men this is entirely normal. We will keep searching and multi-dating until we like someone and then we only focus on them. Girls also dissapear and ghost on us guys all the time after a couple of dates so we like to keep our options open until the women proves her worth. We don’t want to put all our eggs in one basket especially after only one date.

Don't worry about it, since you did just go out on one date. When you feel like the relationship is becoming more serious - then bring it up?

Like maybe say - I'm gonna deactivate my online dating profile because I'm not longer interested in dating other people, what about you?

But not yet, not after the first date.
