Me and my girlfriend have a special place we go to near a stream for

picnics. I am thinking of popping the question, and have come up with

two different proposals. Which is more romantic?

1) Have her "find" an old rusty box in the stream with her wedding

ring inside where she has to "break in to it" and when she does, she

turns around to see me on my knee when I pop the question, This one

has the added excitement of finding a "lost treasure", or

2) Find an interesting rock and attach the ring to the underside.

Carry it to the stream and have me "find" it and call her over. When

she comes over, have her look at it and then get her to turn it over.

I will already be down on my knees in the stream to pop the question.

Either one will be followed by a nice picnic previously set up in the

woods nearby without her knowing.

I like option A just make sure the box doesn't float away.... D :eek:H!

Make sure you don't forget the place, lose the ring, and insects eat the food... :D

I prefer option #1. You can also just come there and make her see something very interesting that will pick her interest. Is that what you actually imagined? :)

I want her to be really excited, but have no idea as to the contents of the box. That's why I wanted to partially bury it and have her find it. She will be completely and totally surprised... Although that would suck if I forgot where it was buried

You'll also have to do whatever you do with nobody watching in case they go dig it up and keep it.

I think logistically option 2 works out better.....b/c with option 1, what happens if she cant open it, turns around to have you do it or help, and there you are on your knees......that'd be awkward
