Forever Searching Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 I am a little scared right now. I have this friend that I have never been involved with AT ALL and recently he has been asking me to do the friends with benefits thing and "altering" pictures he has of me and making me naked. lol. Im serious. I'm starting to worry because he sends me like 15 text messages a day and always want to hang out. I haven't been hanging out with him I've been too busy. Does anyone else think I need to be concerned and how should I handle this without him going off the deep end and killing me or something? It's really starting to piss me off because I have a boyfriend in Iraq and I would never cheat on him and I've told him this!!! ughhh. Psychos!!
Art_Critic Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 He sounds immature .. Not psycho.. Tell him to lay off.. If you don't communicate your desires to him how can you expect him to read your mind ? You might have to be more forceful in the way you are telling him and leave NO wiggle room for him to think otherwise.
LucreziaBorgia Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 End the 'friendship' firmly and irrefutably, ASAP. For some people, the whole "friends" thing is basically just a foot in the door in the hopes of it leading to more. He read in hope where there was none, and saw your 'unavailability' as a cue to 'try harder'. Time to send a very clear message, with no room for misinterpretation: "We can no longer be friends, and I would like for you not to contact me in any way, shape or form anymore." Then block every method of contacting that you can think of.
Author Forever Searching Posted August 25, 2005 Author Posted August 25, 2005 That's what I want to do but I'm afraid that he will do something to get revenge. I mean, he already has altered photos to make me look naked, what if he does something with them like post them all over the internet?
Art_Critic Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 You can't live and make decisions such as this based on fear of what someone might do.. He also might not do anything. Deal with the what if's if they happen.. Posting phoney naked photos of someone on the internet is a highly slanderous thing.. If he does it then you can take the evidence to the police and file charges.
