jdesey Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 I hear the stories of lost love getting back together after many many years apart. Who has experience with this? Did it work out? My break up is going on a year and a half, I still love her more than anything ever take her back in a second.
d0nnivain Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 It happens but it's rare. My college roommate was with her then BF since 7th grade. They broke up senior year of college because he had GIGS. They got back together 2 years later. SHe made him beg. They have been married for 26 years. DH & I will be attending a wedding this summer. The couple were HS sweethearts. She dumped him in college because he needed to grow up. After college they met up at a mutual friend's party & the rest is history I tried to get back together a few months after a break up but the trust was gone & it was like walking on egg shells. Your problem is that you have yet to accept that it's over nor have you done the post mortem to figure out what lessons you are supposed to take as you move forward in life. When you let go you will heal.
