Wassup lovebirds & wonderful people. I am in really strange situation. In 2016, I ( 21 year's old at the time) broke up with my girlfriend of 3 years (who was 19 about to be 20) because she basically left me for someone else but tried to mask it as if she wanted space & time off. Of course she was talking to someone 2 weeks later. before we broke up i was doing business with her brother (Marketing, Stock trading) who was 18 at the time for almost a 1 and a half. I told him it was an awkward & messy to continue doing business & he seemed to understand. I cut all commication from both her & her brother in Dec 2016 to start my healing process. In 2017, i felt as if i needed a change so i went harder in the business & started working out more. I got over her by around summer even though i kinda still think about her. In the beginning of 2018, he calls me from JAIL asking me how things have been going. Obviously this caught me off guard. Once i told him i was making money he automatically said that we should start business again once he gets out. I still feel the same way & feel it would be way too awkward to even speak to him let alone do business. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

He's in jail, which means he's either stupid or dishonest, or both. Do not do business with this person, especially if you are involved in stock trading.

Sounds as if it was a good thing you got out of business with him. Since he's in jail sounds like a good idea not to go back into business with him.

Just curious as to why you would consider partnering with someone who is in jail? Seems to me that's a red flag the size of North America!
