If someone is on OLD legitimately wanting to date/seek a relationship, they're not going to say "open to suggestions". Some may lie and say they are looking for a relationship when all they want is casual but this guy is pretty straightforward.

It means he's either used that line before or he's the slippery type who will be hard to pin down about anything.

 

 

Tell him you are looking for marriage & kids. He'll burn rubber getting out of your life.

I read it as him being desperate. He'll take anything, and he's afraid to say what he wants cos you can just say no after that. I wouldn't waste my time with this guy.
