Kholland64 Posted January 11, 2018 Posted January 11, 2018 (edited) I met a guy from an online dating site yesterday. We had an unusual date, as we had planned to meet his friends at an event that we were both going to. He invited me to dinner beforehand to get to know him. I had a great time. I offered to split the bill. He bought me a drink at the event and altered his route to leave from the same train stop as me. No kiss. No hand holding. Quick goodbye hug. But I feel like I didn't make it easy for him to make a move as I think I accidentally friend zone people. He messaged today, as I had left some of my work papers in his bag which he had offered to carry for me. He suggested we go for lunch on our work breaks. We paid for our own lunches and he bought me a coffee afterwards. Also had a great time. No kiss. No hand holding. Quick goodbye hug. Also feel like I may have given off friend vibes accidentally. Whatever happens, I want this man in my life. We get on very well, so we will either be very close friends or (hopefully) date. But have I accidentally friend zoned him? Has he friend zoned me? How long should I wait for him to get in contact? Or maybe I should just get in contact. Edited January 11, 2018 by Kholland64 1
SpinScratch Posted January 11, 2018 Posted January 11, 2018 Idk.... I wouldnt kiss you on a subway platform on a first date. I probably wouldnt do it on my lunch break either. Give it time, maybe he's waiting for the right time. He sounds interested. Find ways to touch him when you're with him. He'll get the idea.
