max3732 Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 I've come across this description on multiples profiles and did an online search and see it over and over. "I’m a “tell it like it is” person. Sometimes it gets me in trouble, but most times people appreciate knowing exactly where I stand" If I see that should I just assume it's a bot regardless of the picture or anything else?
Miss Spider Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 That’s weird. It could be someone who is using it over and over again to Fill bot profiles. Or maybe it’s the new “if you can’t handle me at my worst you don’t deserve me at my best” and we just didnt get the memo..

The women themselves usually are real (I met one such woman), they just have no idea what to put in their profiles. In the case of the woman I met though I think it was "My family is full of big personalities – my childhood was filled with laughter. I guess that’s where I get my sense of humor from." That’s a terrible filler profile lol Make the person unknowingly sound unapologetically blunt just because they don’t know how to fill out a profile. Need something more neutral like that a ton of people already put in their profile like “ I love to laugh and I love my family.” Edit: The one you gave an example of was a little better. d0nnivain Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 I wouldn't assume it's a bot. I would conclude it is somebody I don't want to date. Either they have no tact or no imagination.

If it's not that, yes, could be a bot, but could also just be someone who has to copy things to put down. There's a lot of those. But since they're basically telling you, Hey, I'm a tactless butt even if the truth hurts, why would you want to date them anyway?
