realfriends Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 Hey guys, So I just got out of a relationship 6 days before I was supposed to attend a friends wedding (my first wedding and also not a very close friend of mine at all). My question is pretty simple, what do I do? Obviously don't want to burden the couple getting married so I want to make sure I do whats right. Tips or suggestions?
darkbloom Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 Let the couple know that your plus one cancelled so they can save the cost of the meal and rearrange the seating chart if necessary. Don’t bring someone just to fill the space as you will be documented in their wedding photos for the rest of your life. He bride and groom will appreciate you giving them the heads up. Go solo! Weddings are way for fun solo and there are usually tons of other single people to mingle and have a good time with. 1
