LightNecro Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 So I'm kind of in an awkward position. I'm an intern at a pharmacy (I graduate in 2 years / 26 yo right now) and I have a crush on one of the pharmacists (31 yo). She's already established a career and is single at the moment. She was divorced from a previous marriage. Despite all this, I have a huge crush on her. She's pretty, composed, brilliant, and has a playful personality. Today, she asked me about my relationship status and later on Monday in the day, she said there was a movie she really wanted to see, but she hasn't got anybody to go with. We both found out that we are huge Star Wars geeks. I think I might be trying to invent reasons to think there might be something there, but I don't know if I should ask her on a date to the movies. It has to be tomorrow because she takes the rest of the week off next week. I just don't know if I should follow through.
GemmaUK Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 I'd ask he if I were you. It doesn't need to be a big 'date' or anything. Ask her if she is free and would like to go with you and see what happens. It does sound like she's open to iit so it just depends if she has plans or not.
KBarletta Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 Definitely ask her. She says no, no harm done. It's not like you're confessing your undying love for her. If she says yes, you either have the start of a relationship or a friendship. Either way, a good thing.
Haydn Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 Ask her. It will either lead to something wonderful and a life times supply of Codeine or you will at least know and move on. Good luck.
CautiouslyOptimistic Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 Agree, just ask her since you already both said you wanted to see it. It doesn't even have to be an official date, just two friends/Star Wars fans seeing the newest movie. Good luck!
