Does anyone else get super emotional after a workout/run?

Usually right after, I feel great. But then about thirty minutes later, I will start crying. I am not even thinking about anything specific but the tears come.

Does this happen to anyone else? anyone know why?

Not a doctor or neuroscientist or anything, but I am thinking you are feeling great because of the "exercise high." The exercise increases chemicals like anandamide and serotonin in your brain, which affect your mood and tend to make you happier (the science is not 100% conclusive), but after a while, the rush wears out and you go back to being emotional again because the same chemicals responsible for making you feel better are also usually the ones helping you regulate your mood and emotions. Maybe it is like a sugar crash?

Just my guess. Again, I am not a specialist in this field, so I could be wrong. The research is there if you would like to look into it yourself.
