Guys,

 

I get number of matches with girls and message them after 3-4 hours to 1 day later with mostly no replies

 

My message is something like below:

 

Great to meet you and it was a fun night

 

I am keen to spend sometime together , when is good for you?

Or i would like to invite you out, what is your availability like over the next few days/ weeks?

 

 

What am i doing wrong as I seem to get no reply?

I then chase after 4-5 days and if she doesn't reply then will cross her off my list

How about a slight rephrase... "I really enjoyed talking with you last night. I would be very interested in seeing you again. Would you be interested in meeting for coffee or a drink sometime?"

 

Be direct, ask the girl out but not on a date - just an opportunity to talk some more and get to know each other better. When she replies with interest, then you can arrange the day and location.

 

And, always good if you can include something personal that you have in common. Example, I would really enjoy talking to you more about (insert hobby) or I would love to hear more about your travels.

If the message sounds very "cut and paste" then I wouldn't reply personally! I think it needs to link in to something you spoke about with the date. For example I received a message inviting me to a coffee shop I mentioned I liked.

 

I recently tried speed dating- I gave 4 ticks, recieved 11 ticks and had 2 matches. One of whom I've since been on a proper date with (for more info see my recent post). He messaged me within 10 mins of getting the formal notification that we had matched which I appreciated. The other match never contacted me. And I've heard from others at the event that their matches never contacted them. I think some people aren't really serious there.

 

The guy I've ended up dating has never actually tried online dating- so he's a bit different

I suggest calling rather than texting which is weak and lame.
