MM or MW did you cheat, then ghost the one you cheated with?

MM or MW, did you cheat on your spouse? Did you ghost the person you cheated with afterwards...and why? Why not give the other person closure and why leave them hanging? Was it just to stroke your ego? Was it just to see if you could? Did you feel feel bad afterwards for you spouse and just didn’t know how to handle it? Did you realize after it was a mistake? Why not give the other person an explanation or closure?

Not speaking for myself here, but I have a friend who did this.

 

He ghosted his mistress because his wife found out and threatened divorce if he didn't. That was the end of the affair. Saving his marriage was much more important to him than the feelings of his Other Woman. Such is the nature of affairs, and why it's a hugely risky prospect to get involved with a married person. Your feelings are just not a priority, most of the time.

This 100%^^^^The reality is, 99.9% of men will always value their marriage more than the mistress. They have the affair usually because they want the attention/sex and has nothing to do with love or commitment.

There shouldn't be any closure when the OW knows what she signed up for. The commitment and promise was to his wife and not the OW so in reality the MM or MW owes them nothing. The fact that he/she is married should be closure enough.
