aklost101 Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 MM called and wanted to see me on his wife's birthday. he called the day before to schedule something with me. i don't think he knows i know when her bday is. i told him i just didn't think that was going to work out. he called me 2x the day of her bday, requesting callbacks. i ignored both VM's standing strong that i was not going to interupt her day- since i had also specifically set out to make plans that day so i wouldn't be tempted to schedule with him. when i asked him how the past couple days were, in a reply email the next day, he replied he didn't have a nice time, but it was something he had to do. he's never spoken ill of his wife (if he speaks of her at all). just wanted to know if a) other OW have experienced this situation and b) why would he call me on her bday? and c) if he's never said bad things about her, why would he say he had a bad time celebrating her bday?
brubaker2004 Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 i think MM get some kind of a rush seeing the OW on an important day in their marriage. i don't know if it because he feels like he is getting the best of both worlds or what. the MM i have been seeing wanted to see me on their 20th wedding anniversary!!!! bottom line is they want their cake and eat it, too.
newbby Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 manipulation, so that he doesnt think you think he is celebrating her birthday because he wants to, only because he has too. they are master manipulators i am afraid.
