Sm12345 Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Wasn’t sure where to put this, but I’ve definitely noticed a difference in a) the types of women on these respective dating sites (is that the right word? Perhaps apps is better..) and b) the types of conversations. For example, I met my ex on OkCupid, we chatted for a week and then dated for 6-7 months, eventually breaking up due to distance, etc. While the availability of matches seems quite limited, from time to time a few gems sign up. I’m not the type to judge based on body type, but in my area is seems populated mostly by women 35+, and slightly above average weight. Tinder and bumble on the other hand seem to be more populated with attractive to above average women, and I have good, up to date photos on my profile, so I get a fair amount of matches, but perhaps given the time of year (everyone is busy with holiday parties, etc), I spend twenty minutes to a half an hour chatting and then suggest drinks or a coffee date and they either don’t respond, or suggest alternative nights that perhaps don’t work for me and then it goes on like that until we either eventually find a night that works, or it fizzles out/one or both of us lose interest.
