The best way I've found to cope is to give the painful fronts my full relaxed attention. I don't try to distract myself with what if fantasies or sweet memories. I just sit and let myself feel it for a while.

 

If I feel like it I can draw or write after I've evoked my painful feelings. I've created some awesome stuff that way.

 

I know it sucks, but don't push the pain away. Accept it, absorb it and transform it.

Yeah, good post, I've seen similar results. Our MC taught me that tool because I liked to fight and suppress emotions instead of letting them flow and processing them to acceptance and then taking any relevant actions on them. Perfect? Nah, not perfect. Helps though.
