We met online and for a week or two all she could talk about was how handsome she thought I was and that she really really liked me. After meeting her is person the other week things got very "heated" in a sexual way (i dont want to get into details of course). Two days later she told me that she did not know if she was attracted to me and that she was not feeling it physically. All i can think about is ...was i too fat in person compared to my pics? was I ugly in person? It really has destroyed my confidence that someone who was so into me could just switch it off so fast....She told me she felt as though we had nothing in common and our conversations were forced so idk if this was just an excuse.

She really wants to be friends now and all I can think about is how in the world you can just those feelings and go back to being friends like it never happened

This is very simple. Those "feelings" you talk about occurred before you met. She met you and realised there was no chemistry for her.

The mistake you're making is thinking that what occurred before you met was real. She wasn't "into you" beforehand, she was just enthusiastic and hopeful based on your photos and messages.

There's no reason to let it knock your confidence. This is a normal part of dating, and you can't expect mutual attraction with every person you meet. Sooner or later you'll meet someone who does like you.

Right, agree with the above.

Don't do the "friends" thing. Just say you have enough friends thanks.

Echoing the above but further you clearly need to work on your own insecurities. If you feel like you’re fat, what are you doing about it?

You've only known her for a week so she should be easy to get over and move on to another girl. Sometimes people are just not compatible.
