First relationship after my divorce

Was dating an amazing person for a few months. They broke up with me because we have very different political beliefs. Trying so hard not to take it personally.

 

I actually had hope after my awful divorce. I hate the dating scene. Now I just want to give up.

We are polar opposites. I was willing to tolerate my ex's beliefs because politics are not immensely important to me. Ex views politics as being connected to ex's identity
