When the talk of engagement came up, he suggested a promise ring. I'm not terribly upset, but am wondering why he may have suggested this. Our relationship and finances are great. What could be the problem?
LucreziaBorgia Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 He is committed to you and is willing to provide you a symbol of the commitment level he feels right now, but he isn't quite ready yet or sure if he wants to make that a lifetime commitment by getting you an engagement ring. That isn't indicative of a 'problem' so much as it is a simple case of not knowing if you want to spend the rest of your life with someone.
