What's your height upper limit?

There are countless short guy threads but what about upper limit on height.

For example I'm average nba height of 6'6

 

Though I prefer really petite girls

Girls 5'0-5'6 turn me on more than 5'8+ girls

( I dunno why )

5'8 is really my limit, I find i am less turned on by taller than 5'8 ( I dunno why)

 

Of the last 4 girls I've had relationship with they were

5'3, 5'6, 5'9, 5'1

 

On OLD...most girls set their limit at 6'2

 

2 questions

 

1) what is your height dating range ? Lowest and highest limits,

 

2) would you not date someone for being too tall??

While I may lose out on some girls I stand out where ever I go. Always get noticed. I'd rather be my height than be 5'11 and jacked

 

As far as I remember only 2 girls have ever told me directly I'm too tall for them to date. No F's were given however

I am surprised to hear that most set their limit at 6'2"!

 

I am 5'6" - I have dated a tall but lanky 6'6" and a very solidly built 6'4".

 

Honestly - I don't know what I would set a "too tall" limit, but 6'6" was a little daunting, a solid foot taller than me, I would joke about always finding a step or something to stand on - made kissing while standing a bit akward

 

My husband is 5'11" and I like his height! I feel like we fit perfectly together. So comfortable to embrace and kiss. All sorts of sexual positions like 69, or standing etc just "match up" while they were more akward or damn near impossible with the extra tall guys.

 

For me? Low limit would be 5'8" upper.... I guess 6'6"

For me personally, height is not a dealbreaker at all. My past/current bf's heights are 5'7", 6'2", 5'10". As a woman whose height is just slightly above the US average, the optimal height for me would probably be 5'8"-5'11".

I'm 5'7 myself... And I know is shallow but I am mostly attracted to guys in the range 6'0-6'2. This is just a sweet spot - taller is fine too, shorter... 5'10 and up is ok, 5'8-5'9 - if their personality is exceptional, my height or shorter... I have a hangup, I guess it might work under other outstanding circumstances.

 

But to the point of the OP: I usually set 6'4 as upper limit at OLD but if a taller guy is interested I would very likely consider dating him. The lower limit is definitely more stringent for me (btw besides height I care very little about men's appearance, I barely notice other physical characteristics...)

I'm a woman, 5' 7". I don't find tall guys attractive. My height and maybe 1 or 2 inches taller. Anymore and I find them intimidating. Short men all the way!

I’ve never dated a woman taller than me. I’m 5’ 10”, so I guess my upper limit is 5’10”. On the shorter end, I wouldn’t be opposed to dating a woman under 5’. Would have no problem with that.

 

However, I’ve found women around 5’ 3” or 5’ 4” just seem to fit me. They are “just right”. The right height to kiss. Hug. Etc. They just fit.

I'm 5'9 and short guys approach me all the time in real life and online even though I list my height. I prefer tall though. 6'3 or 6'4 is ideal for me. I'm from a small cornfield town where most guys are really tall. Now I live in Los Angeles where I thought the guys would be tall but they are actually fairly short haha

 

But I did manage to date a guy who was 6'6 and jacked. It was a little odd at first but after a few dates I didn't even notice except for when we got special treatment bc lots of ppl assumed he was a football player haha (although he was a pro athlete but not a football player)

I'm 5'5" and the shortest guy I dated was my height. Tallest was maybe a foot taller than me? One date and his height was not the issue. He kissed me goodnight and was a terrible kisser.

 

My ideal height is 6 foot or over, but a wide range is acceptable I think 7 foot would be "too tall" for me, though .

I didn't realize women had upper limits, either. I don't really, but I did go on a couple of dates with a guy who was 6'8" and that seemed shockingly tall. I have a couple friends who're 6'4" and they feel normal heighted to me, but 6'8" was like a whole nother realm. I imagine that being that tall could lead to some issues down the road. On the first couple of dates it was a fun novelty. Later on it might lead to some frustration, like how do you even kiss a guy that tall goodbye. Im 5'1".

 

I dont really have a lower limit either. I was crazy about a guy who was probably around 5'2" or 5'3" a while back and I wasnt bothered by his height in the slightest.

i dont have height limits.....but generally i date guys around my height im five four i have dated really tall and i have dated short....and in between ...my exes two of them ...one was five foot the other five nine....another ex was 6 7 ...of exes i have a few had my fair share..... all over the spectrum........so i dont have height requirements...respect however is far more important and how i am treated rather than height....i do however like stocky guys...normally fighters .....deb

I'm 5ft, my upper limit would be 6' 2", I prefer 5'10" but would more likely date a guy shorter than that than taller than 6'2".

I don't wear those ridiculously high heels or platforms though, my max heel height is 3".

I'm 5'11" and in college I started dating a girl my exact height. She would wear heals sometimes and it bothered me, so when I was home on a break I talked to my grandfather about it. He said... "No matter how tall a girl looks they are all the same height laying down"

 

I took that advice to heart and it never bothered me again.

I'm 5'8" and taller girls are intimidating upon first contact. But as for relationships, anything goes with me. I rather be with someone who doesn't judge with such things...

 

I remember dating a tall swimmer in high school and she would sweep me over like casablanca when she kissed me. Very un-nerving! lol "Paging Napoleon complex!" lol

 

Then years later I dated a real lanky tall and thin black girl, I had the best sex with her, that I still remember. Of course, I was in my physical prime and was very sure of myself as well.

 

Mostly I gravitate towards smaller girls, My wife is 5'0" and that suits me just fine. But if I was single and at a bar, the rafter hitters probably wouldn't get to much attention from me, and I from them, unless they tripped over me. lol

I'm 5'6 and my preferred upper height limit is 5'8. I've dated 5'9 in the past. My upper limit has more to do with body/mass ratios. Taller women in their 40s tend to be heavier than I desire. I greatly prefer athletic/toned women and the shorter they are, the more likely they will be 'slimmer.' My experience...

 

Being only 5'6, the shorter the better. It's much easier to 'ravage' a woman who is at height or shorter.

As a guy, I'm not really bothered by a woman's height in either direction. I'm 5'11 so most women are shorter then me, although I did almost date a girl who was about 2 inches taller. Didn't bother me, the long legs are a bonus.

I am 5'2'' & height is extremely important for me after several dates with short guys. I dont mind dating guys whose heights start from 5'7'' and up maybe a little bit less (5'6'') but i cant and neverrrrr would be able to date less than that. I never dates a 6'6'' tall guy ( my max height was 6 ft ) but i dont mind this at all. i think extremely tall guys are hot.I am a petite and i like having tall guys next to me.
