mejustme Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Hi, I recently met a new guy. He initiated the first date which was on a Sunday. The date was only about 2.5 hours long. I thought it went well and he said he’d like to see me again when we have more time. Talked briefly via text for the next few days. Texting convos were extremely flirtatious. But Bc our first date was so short I couldn’t help but wonder if something went wrong. He had his children the following weekend as did I, do we didn’t see each other all weekend. Well I had some pretty hearty questions to be answered. And I wanted to see him again so I called him up and asked if he’d be interested in meeting me for a drink. He accepted almost instantaneously. Saw him last night, had great conversation. We laughed a lot. I didn’t want the date to end. This date was longer, about 4 hours. We walked out together, he kissed me on the lips and asked me to let him know when I was home. I did just that.and text him to say thank you for a nice evening. He did the same.tild me that I looked very nice last night. I think we are on the right path, but I don’t hear from him all day long and if I do it’s because I initiate. Well today I don’t feel like initiating. Idk. What do you all think. Please don’t all jump down my back; I truly am new to this whole dating thing.
Miss Spider Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 I think his interest level is low and you are right to be hesitant about initiating again. You are chasing. Who knows if and when you would have had a second date if you hadn't asked him out. 1
