bmne90 Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 (edited) The other day, I met this girl at the train station. After exchanging some eye contact, I went up to her and managed to get her number. However, it's like my brain froze and I don't know what to text her at all (seriously). I asked for her name, and she took two days before replying to me. Obviously, asking her out is the goal, but I don't know how to get to that point since I've never just randomly approached a girl in my life. So my question is, how should I start this and what should I be texting her? Like where she was headed to at the train station? Thanks everyone in advance Edited October 30, 2017 by bmne90 Spelling error
Miss Spider Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 don't overthink so much! You must chill. She's only but a chick. Ask her when she's free for a date in the upcoming week 3
smackie9 Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Ask her out, that is why she gave you her number....she would like to go out with you sometime. 3

dumbass2 Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 She evidently thought you were attractive and confident. Don't blow the confidence now by over thinking. Just be yourself and if you screw up you learn from it. Don't be afraid to make mistakes, but don't become needy if she's not replying fast enough. Ask her to meet for drinks on a certain day and time, maybe around the area where you met her or ask if she's around to talk by phone some evening. Don't spend too much time on this. I'd say if you haven't met for a date or at least had a good phone conversation within a week that you focus your attention elsewhere. Good job at least by showing initiative. You should only get better at this the more you do it. 2

I overthink way too much, and I apparently only get these short bursts of confidence that I have trouble maintaining, so that's something I gotta watch out for. But once again, thank you for the advice, it really helps me out a lot. Hopefully I can get this to work!
alphamale Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 ask her to meet you at a public place for coffee or a drink 1
