OverProtective Posted August 17, 2005 Posted August 17, 2005 I call my girlfriend everyday and everytime i say i will. It seems all my friends neglect their girlfriends and never call them and saying stuff like "i was supposed to call stacy but F it she can wait" I have never not called when i said i was going too. There were times where something came up(grrr work) and i was unable to call her on time but i called ahead to tell her i will be busy. I'm not needy or anything , i just enjoy talking to her, she makes me happy and i enjoy her company. like i'll call her before work in the morning while we are both getting ready work and say i'm thinking about her and i hope she stays safe and has a good day and i love her. The way i think of it is if anything happened and something went wrong, one of us got hurt or killed. I don't wanna regret not having that last word with her vice versa. I've always been like this and have never really had a problem. I never once had a girl tell me "I feel you don't care"
thegoodhubbie Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 Not odd. Unique. I think that it is pretty cool that you do that for her. She should count her blessings. I try to call my wife every day at work and tell her I love her (except when I am pissed at her about something! LOL), and we kiss and say I love you to each other every morning before we leave for work. I say good for you and keep it up. You'll just wind up with a really good relationship.

As to why people waste so much time and energy in relationships with people they don't love, I don't have the foggiest notion. (By the way, I've been guilty of the above crime)
