I have no interest in this man, friendship or otherwise. What is the kindest way to respond without leaving the door open, like saying, "We'll see," or something equally as vague? She called me after it was done and at first I was concerned there was a problem. Then she asked me to a concert that weekend. I politely declined, saying my girlfriend wouldn't approve.
