VedderisBetter Posted October 7, 2017 Posted October 7, 2017 (edited) I'd never date this girl while she is my supervisor but there is a funny coincidence of how we are connected; her sister and my brother dated when they were seniors and we were in 7th grade. She brought it up to me when she first started in the role. She brought it up again when we took a clerk run ride together and asked how old we were when our siblings dated each other. She also asked me why I never eat lunch with my dad since he works in the same building which she found out from the big boss. I found this to be an odd/nosey question that I'm not sure why she asked it in the first place. I asked her about her dad and she was like I've never met him but my stepdad is a jerk. Why would she want to know this? Then she asked me what street I grew up on and I could tell she had mentioned me to her sister and then asked me about it or else she would've never known what street I lived on. I'm assuming she's just making conversation but could there be any hidden meeting to why she mentioned their relationship twice? I also saw her staring at me when she was supervisor and she sat right in front of me and I was staring at my computer. When I switched seats and she would go out to smoke and come back, I'd see her sneaking glances at my as she opened the door as I sat directly in front of the door. I know neither of us would date each other while in our current roles for obvious reasons but I'm hoping to get a job in a different Dept for other reasons and then who knows lol. I know she talks to her sister on her breaks daily so I guess my boss asked about me for whatever reason. This past February I re-contacted her on Facebook and said sorry for the way I quit and asked her how she lost all that weight and she said she had surgery. She probably thought I only was now interested in her because she looked thinner. She mentioned how she goes to this particular gym and how awesome it is and I was like "Do you need a gym partner?" She said her boyfriend is her personal trainer and he's really into that stuff. I thought she was full of it but just responded with "That's cool." I told her we should keep in touch and she was like sure we go way back since our older siblings dated each other. I ended up having a bad night in February and blocked her on my Facebook and then several days later I check and unblock her but she's blocked me. She also blocked me on Linkedin. I guess I upset her and she retaliated. Is it possible she was interested when I worked there then decided she didn't like me. She wasn't a great catch because she did smoke and her mom is a criminal but I guess it's nice to feel wanted. I'm thinking the only reason she asked me personal questions is because she was interested romantically. What do you think? Edited October 7, 2017 by VedderisBetter
