Why is my Tinder stuck at finding people near you?

It's been like this for 3 weeks. I tried logging out, and uninstalling it. Nothing works. What should I do?

No, its stuck at trying to find people near me, I can't swipe.

After opening the app, click on the button that takes you to your profile (it's on the top left in my phone and has the shape of a person). Then click on the settings gear and change the "Maximum Distance" option.

I only want my maximum distance to be 24 miles, I don't want them to live any further away.

Have you swiped through a lot of people? Tinder has a 'drip feed' meaning it only shows you a certain amount of profiles so that people don't spend a day swiping and go through their entire city and lose interest in the app. It should clear up in a day or so (?)Also, you may have swiped through everyone in your city depending on its size
