It ended when he started freaking out because things moved so fast so he dumped me. I was crushed of course then decided to employ NC. After I healed some, I reached out to him asking if he wanted to become FWB. We've slept with each other a couple of times and it's still great. We also text daily. He was still pretty affectionate when we're around each other and we cuddle and stuff. Right now I'm in a place emotionally where I can keep things separated. We've talked about our dating life and he knows I'm sort of seeing someone. He keeps saying he's not looking to date anyone right now but he'll let me know if he meets someone and I can do the same and we'll end things. I told him that I'll probably be ending things soon but would like to sleep together a little more. He thinks the guy I'm dating is totally wrong for me and kept nagging me about it. He says he's just trying to protect me because he cares. He left for a business trip and said he'd text when he gets there but I haven't heard anything since. His actions usually follow his words so I'm surprised. I ended up telling the guy I was dating I wasn't interested anymore. I was planning to continuing the FWB relationship while I get therapy for some old wounds. I'm not sure what the silence is about. I don't think he has romantic feelings for me anymore. He talks about dating other women in the future when he's ready. I honestly don't want to find somebody new because I don't like sleeping around. But should i just forget about him and find a new one?

What do you want an FWB or a romantic relationship? If you mean you don't think he's horny for you anymore, that may be true.
