Umm... I really don't want to be the one who throws a spanner into the gearbox, but how do you know that she isn't a gold digger? How can any of the posters who responded to you telling you what a boner you pulled are right? OP, you have money, and you are sensitive to being used for it in the past, so I would be willing to admit my original feelings, though perhaps expressed badly, might not be too far off base. Her recent change in attitude really does tell me a lot: She friended a richer man than you , and when you called her on it, she blew up because she thought she found your replacement. It didn't work out so she has you to fall back on. Seen in that light it really is not difficult to see why she is so caviler now: she needs to reel you back in, and an angry response wont do it. OP, now that she knows how you feel, If I am right, she must be thinking that she has you right were she wants you. Be careful, or you will soon be without a girlfriend and a huge chunk of change...
