Comparing myself to my brother

This may sound stupid, but I have noticed that I compare myself to my brother.

The main problem is that I am afraid that he will be more successful with women than I am. Im older (22) than he is (19), and I have always seen myself as a role model to him.

Im good looking and I have alot of girls chasing me. My brother is also good looking nowadays and I always wonder if he is going to get the girls who chase me to chase him. I always wonder how women see us and which one is better looking in their eyes. If I like someone and want her, im paranoid that she will meet my brother or see his post on instagram, and go after him.

 

I don't know if this is healthy or normal but I can't stop thinking about it.

Well, it probably will happen a time or two. And you will survive it .

It's a normal feeling. You've got to be prepared that this will happen in real as well. Your fear is not unfounded. 2 sisters with similar age differences go through the same stuff. The reason is that people first go by physical appearance and then the personality.

 

I have no advise but yeah, it will happen , unfortunately. Not just to you but your brother will have the same issue. It's both ways.
