I asked for a girl's number because she clearly wanted me to. She went up to me at lunch and kind of awkwardly stood there. I wasn't getting the hint at first. Then I finally asked her. She is very cute and we have science together. I don't know very much about her except that she is a cheer leader. What should I text her that isn't boring?

Takes time to get to know her.. You have lots of time to get to know her. Just be yourself she made the first move you made the asking her out. Just play it cool. Text her hi what's up with you?

But seriously, just mention that you noticed her before, and that you're glad you met her. The rest is easy, you're in school, so you can discuss anything from other classes, where she likes to hang out, or which cafeteria food is the worst. Your options are endless.

I love goofy funny texts. I had a guy who would text me about the hilarious things that were going on around him and it would just send me into a fit of giggles.
