guild11 Posted August 25, 2017 Posted August 25, 2017 Hello, me (27) and my ex GF (28) broke up about 3 month ago after 2 years, we still work in the same office and recently she was promoted to department manager, she is my direct boss now and has a new boyfriend. We were pretty hostile at first but then we came to conclusion that it's better that we respect each other and talk so the work environment would be easier and less stressful for both of us. This week I had a 5 day trip with my friends, on the first day she messaged me telling me to take care and have fun. Day after she messaged me again asking how things are going, later on she sent some of her photos and asked for video call. I still love her so I was kinda happy that we are talking until she started asking if I was with other women, I said I was and she turned a bit cold on me but kept messaging. The trip was over and I got home, in the evening she called me and I haven't answered, she messaged me and asked to come over (her BF went out of country) I told her it's a bad idea and I might do things lol so I rather meet her at the office. She said she misses me and wants us to talk/smoke weed. I went to her place, she hugged me and didn't let go at first, we talked and smoked and I couldn't resist anymore. I just grabbed her and kissed her, she said it's wrong... But the night took its course and we had sex eventually. We both enjoyed it very much but she was in emotional storm, she said she can't believe she cheated on her boyfriend, that she won't be able to look at his face and got upset. I told her my honest opinion I said that if she really loved that guy we wouldn't be having sex right now, then I said that she probably gonna dump him later on and would ask to be with me again, she denied it said it won't happen. We talked a bit more and I left her place, she didn't messaged me day after, I didn't felt with the things I done. What do you think will happen now ?

I wish I had ur composure because I too work wth my ex and it sends me crazy wen I even see her talking to other male colleagues and it's been a yr. What's your secret Lol? I think u got this dude let her keep chasing u if that's what u really want as in her after she left u for this other work colleague. Personally myself if I loved her and I loved my ex that just wouldn't sit well wth me as it did happen and it kinda killed it for me I just can't see her in the same way anymore she broke that bond. Having said that it seems like u can get past that wth no issues so if u really wanna continue wth ur ex and ur not bothered by the fact she left u for him let her do the work. Personally myself I'd have major trust issues wth this woman and wouldn't trust her. She had sex wth u behind this guys back so effectively she cheated never trust a cheater they do it to them good chance they'll do it to u

Of course, like many of us have experienced, you won't. You will continue down the road of "Hollywood endings" thinking that true love will conqueror all. The problem is, this girl cheated on her boyfriend with you. Her character is in a trash can. You have shown her that you will be there for her no matter what. Welcome to being the fallback guy.
