She is older than me and divorced. I have known this lady for a couple of years and always been attracted to her but never had the courage to ask her out. We always get on great and have a great banter and a good laugh. When we text I started adding kisses and she responded likewise. Last week I texted her and asked if she would like to go to the casino for a night out ? She replied asking if she could get back to me as had a lot going on. I said that was fine. She got back to me and said she couldn't go as she had hurt her foot and couldn't walk too well. But said Thank you xx. I replied thanks for letting me know and followed up by saying I would be in touch for another business appointment and would see her then. She texted me back two kisses.. So now I have no idea what to do next. It really sounds like she doesn't want to go out and made an excuse to spare my feelings. But now she knows I am interested in her, why does she still send me kisses? Should I ask her out again in a few weeks or just leave it as strictly business acquaintance? If she puts you off then, probably best to keep this a business arrangement. Putting kisses at the end of a text is not businesslike on her part so I can understand your confusion here.

What really confuses me is that after turning me down she still texts kisses! Lol And not just at the end of a sentence but texted me just two kisses on their own.
